Dr. Joe Kerschner

Dr. Joseph Kerschner became the Dean of the School of Medicine and Executive Vice President of the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) in November 2011 following 10 months as Interim Dean. Dr. Kerschner assumed the additional role of Provost of the MCW Health Science University in 2017. He also is Professor in the Departments of Otolaryngology and Communication Sciences and Microbiology and Immunology. He has held numerous leadership roles in organized medicine, including currently serving as Chair of the Council of Deans for the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and on the AAMC’s Board of Directors. Dr. Kerschner maintains an active membership on numerous professional and honorary societies, is Past President of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology and current President of the International Society for Otitis Media.

Prof. Antony Narula

Tony Narula was a consultant otorhinolaryngologist at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, Charing Cross Hosptial and Hammersmith Hospital. He was also an Honorary Consultant at Chelsea & Westminster and Royal Brompton Hospitals and took early retirement in Dec 2014. He has a special interest in children with ear, nose and throat disorders and hearing problems. He was elected the President of the British Society of Otology 2010 – 2012. He was awarded an Honorary Professorship from Middlesex Hospital in 2003 and has been national clinical lead for ENT for the NHS Modernisation Agency, winning a Beacon award in 1999 for waiting list management and innovation.

He has an interest in medical politics and served as President of both the Association of Otolaryngologists in Training and the Young Consultant Otolaryngologists. He was editor of the CME Bulletin Otolaryngology and instigated a diploma course for GPs to learn more about Otolaryngology (DepENT). He was elected to the Council of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2004 where he was the Honorary Treasurer and served as President of ENT UK from 2015-2017.

Dr. Matija Daniel

Mat Daniel is a Consultant Paediatric Otorhinolaryngologist in Nottingham. He trained in the East Midlands and in Sydney, and obtained a PhD in the fields of Glue Ear microbiology / biofilms and drug delivery. He has a Masters in Medical Education, is the undergraduate lead for ENT at The University of Nottingham, and the ENT Training Programme Director for East Midlands. He is involved in a variety of research projects, including basic science research and clinical trials.
